Responsibilities:
- Conducts statistical modeling on large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations; applies statistical techniques to large datasets. (20%) Develops predictive models and algorithms to optimize energy consumption and improve energy efficiency. (20%)
- Performs data extraction, cleaning, and transformation to prepare datasets for machine learning and statistical analysis. (15%)
- Works closely with product managers and customer success teams to analyze and refine data models and visualizations. (10%) Works with software engineers to implement and deploy data-driven solutions. (15%) Collaborates with customers to understand data needs, generate insights, and develop new data solutions. (10%)
- Presents technical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers. (05%) Works with machine learning models, statistical programming, and cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure). (05%)
- Master’s degree in Information Management, Management and Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Two (2) years related experience as a Business Analyst or related occupation.
- Experience is required and must include: Applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making in optimization and forecasting; Developing and implementing predictive models and algorithms to improve energy efficiency, optimize industrial IoT data, and enhance operational performance; Performing data extraction, cleaning, and transformation using SQL and Python to prepare datasets for machine learning and statistical analysis; Collaborating with cross functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and customer success teams, to refine data models, create visualizations, and deploy data-driven solutions; and Utilizing cloud-based data solutions (AWS and Azure) and statistical programming to build, deploy, and maintain scalable data solutions.
- Work from home up to 50%.
- Employee must reside in metro area of office HQ (Raleigh, NC).
