Our flagship product, the Smart ConnectDER, is a plug-and-play interface for rapidly connecting residential solar photovoltaic systems and EV chargers to the grid and managing them using embedded telemetry and communications.

Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Summary Statement

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving our Marketing initiatives, promoting our brand, and increasing our online presence. This role requires a deep understanding of various Marketing strategies, exceptional communication skills, and a results-oriented mindset. Experience in developing sales collateral and assisting with trade shows and events is required.

**This is a remote position. However, ConnectDER will give preference to candidates in the Greater Philadelphia area, and the East Coast, respectively**

Core Functions/Duties

  • Support the Corporate Marketing Manager in the development and execution of Marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and achieve business goals
  • Develop branded collateral such as sell sheets, brochures, presentations, and product documentation to support the Sales, Market Opening, and Product teams
  • Assist in the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and other corporate events
  • Monitor and analyze Marketing campaign performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams, to ensure consistent brand messaging, alignment, and product descriptions
  • Create and implement comprehensive Marketing campaigns across various digital channels including but not limited to Social Media, Website, Email Marketing and Paid Media
  • Help manage Social Media campaigns and accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and Marketing best practices
  • Travel as needed for various events (i.e. trade shows)

Compensation range for this role begins at $50,000 + Bonus + Equity

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred

Required Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in Marketing roles, preferably with a focus on electricity, solar, EV, or manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing strategies, tools, and platforms including HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hootsuite or Sprout Social, SEM Rush
  • Strong knowledge of Social Media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube
  • Experience in developing sales collateral, including brochures, presentations, and product documentation
  • Familiarity with planning and executing trade shows, conferences, and events
  • Proficient in using Marketing analytics tools to track campaign performance

Preferred Experience

  • Design experience including familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite a plus but not required

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Must have the ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time with or without accommodation.

US Salary Range
$50,000$60,000 USD
