Ayrton Energy's vision is to provide affordable, off-grid energy security via clean, safe and scalable storage technologies​. Ayrton is looking for a part-time (8-12 hours per week) chemistry or chemical engineer student with experience in a chemical laboratory to join our team. As part of a fast-growing startup, the scientist or engineer in this role can anticipate a large variety of changing role responsibilities as the team grows.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation of chemical samples for characterization and testing
• Assembly and disassembly of test stations
• Inventory management of laboratory consumables

Your Skills and Experience:

• Undergraduate student in chemistry, or engineering with lab experience (may be from classes) looking for part-time employment
• Passionate about innovation, self-motivated and keen to learn
• Organized and efficiently able to manage time for laboratory protocols.
