Reports to: Electrolyzer Test & Development Scientist Supervisor
Salary: Salaries at Advanced Ionics are paid bi-weekly
Position Summary: Electrolyzer Test Lab Intern is responsible for supporting Test and Development Engineers and Scientists in completing electrolyzer and material development tests.
Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time position for 16 hours per week. Your workday will be scheduled between the hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday, based on candidate availability and business need.. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Electrolyzer cell and stack build and assembly support.
- Developing and building procedures and fixtures for lab and electrolyzer tests.
- Performing assigned lab material and electrolyzer tests and reporting results.
- Analyze data from electrolyzer test stations.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry and move equipment up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop and reach for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs as needed
- Manual dexterity required for operating warehouse tools and equipment
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot/cold) within the warehouse environment
- Visual and auditory ability to safely operate equipment and identify hazards

Qualifications
Professional Qualifications:
- Active student seeking Engineering or Science degree with at least 2 years into degree program.
- Strong hands-on learning aptitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Able to work and learn independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in analyzing and organizing information and data for problem solving.
