Salary: Salaries at Advanced Ionics are paid bi-weekly

Position Summary: Electrolyzer Test Lab Intern is responsible for supporting Test and Development Engineers and Scientists in completing electrolyzer and material development tests.

Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time position for 16 hours per week. Your workday will be scheduled between the hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday, based on candidate availability and business need.. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Essential Functions of the Position:

• Electrolyzer cell and stack build and assembly support.
• Developing and building procedures and fixtures for lab and electrolyzer tests.
• Performing assigned lab material and electrolyzer tests and reporting results.
• Analyze data from electrolyzer test stations.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry and move equipment up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop and reach for extended periods
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs as needed
• Manual dexterity required for operating warehouse tools and equipment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot/cold) within the warehouse environment
• Visual and auditory ability to safely operate equipment and identify hazards

Professional Qualifications:

• Active student seeking Engineering or Science degree with at least 2 years into degree program.
