Position: Information Systems Administrator
Status: Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
Salary: Salaries at Advanced Ionics are paid once monthly
Reports to: Director of Operations
Position Summary: The Information Systems Administrator is responsible for network security, selecting and installing new applications in collaboration with CEO, distributing software upgrades, monitoring daily activities, enforcing licensing agreements, developing a storage management program, and providing for routine backups.
Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of the work are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Oversee all electronic and computer systems and software through the company’s ecosystem.
- Manage and install all network and cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Administrator of cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure AD/Office365 and Google Workspaces among others.
- Deploy cloud and API-based tools as required.
- Imaging of new computers and installation of software
- Develop efficient file organizing structure with data access management.
- Manage company-wide backups and recovery.
- Support information systems needs of all staff members, while providing timely maintenance and repair as required.
- Build new software or code as necessary.
- Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications
Professional Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT professional.
- Experienced in Microsoft Azure AD, Google Workspaces, Linux, Cybersecurity, hardware/software & network infrastructure
- Experience administering multi-level environments in multi-platforms
- Administration experience withing a network configuration and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to meet many requests and deadlines that sometimes conflict
- Ability to organize, prepare, analyze and interpret programming data to find and solve problems
- Ability to plan, prepare, execute and debug computer programs
- Results-oriented and can work independently.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Considerable knowledge of, and the ability to apply practically, necessary internet fundamentals
